The Veiling Light is an ongoing series of works exploring scenes from the Battle of Britain. The series consists of digital drawings created using a graphics tablet in Adobe Photoshop 5.5. The works reference photographs from the era whilst echoing compositions from (mostly British) works of art.

I wished to express the drama, tragedy, bravery and experience of the air war, as seen by aircrew and civilians.

This year, 2005, marks 60 years from end of WW2, and 65 years from the Battle of Britain.
